Kanu Nwankwo has come out and helped his friend, Nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot who is aiming to get a political position.
The former Eagles number four and Arsenal legend was with Desmond Olushola Elliot (DOE) at a widows forum in Lagos.
He then proceeded to give a speech at the widows forum and said he is sure that Desmond won’t disappoint the people of Surulere if he would get elected into the Lagos State House of Assembly.
He went on and said that Mr Elliot will make Nigeria proud as he had made the nation proud abroad.
Kanu Nwankwo is a former Nigerian striker who had a well respected career playing for Arsenal, Inter Milan, Ajax and a host of European clubs.
Desmond Elliot has been a stable in the Nollywood scene for over two decades now.
